Infrastructure Funds - Sustainability Is at the Core of the Infrastructure Fund's Strategy
There's a lot of activity at government and private sector level, which is being driven by government targets of achieving net zero. KKR's fourth infrastructure fund closed at 17 billion in March 2022, doubled the size of its 2018 predecessor and will target the energy transition. EQT closed its fifth infrastructure fund at 15 billion with the energy transition as one of its core sectors. Stone Peak, I can give you many more examples. The point is sustainability is now at the very core of infrastructure fund's strategy. And then there's been an explosion of capital flowing into sub-sectors that support the energy Transition. So climate tech, for example, which accounts for 14 cents of every venture capital dollar
