The Psychological Traits of Incels

Incels are a really difficult group, they're very cynical of academia, so it's very hard to get at them. And I think that they're just kind of cynical, because most people are trying to make them look bad with their studies. So the first thing that we measured and we hypothesized that incels would score higher on what's called the tendency for interpersonal victimhood scale. This is a new personality construct and personality scale that's been developed. It was one of the first studies actually asking incel participants themselves their views about a range of different things.
