The Four Dimensions of Psychoanalysis

I don't think psychoanalysis has done that much for politics perhaps in the sense we were talking about screenwriters being inspired by psychoanalysis it has inspired but mass politics like things that you know change things in irreversible ways. There is a history of transformations and structures of kinship affinity in modernity that is crucial story to understand why psychoanalysis appears when it does. It's just like 30-40 years of people saying that producing subjectivity is a bad thing makes it look like they're gonna believe more things are possible not less.
