Novelty search is like spectacular. It got this rowout to learn to walk. But that's really not the whole point of novelty search, or something. That's more the divergent process. Like i imagine that because of the divergence, you get agents that do completely wild and different things than what we expect. You will get, you will get more diversity too, which i would also consider a nice fringe benefit as well. In some sense, this is an illustration of how misleading objective intuitions are. We can't even do well against something that doesn't even know it's trying to do.
