Michelle Remembers: The Smoke of Satan on the Silver Screen is a documentary about Catholic horror film Vatican II. In 1972, Pope Paul VI said "Satan's smoke has made its way into the temple of God through some crack" This was repeated over and over again in conservative Catholic circles to indicate anxieties that a lot of Catholics experienced after Vatican II. Michelle Remembers: The question of the devil and the influence he can exert on individual persons as well as on communities, whole societies, or events is very important. It should be studied again.
