Why We Write a Book Review

The reason we debate so fiercely is because we do not define our underlying base assumptions of different words. When one person says money, they are bringing a certain color to that abstract term and the word is colored and shaded with nuance. So very often when we write a book review, we are figuring out what we're doing. What we think about the grand themes and preoccupations of the human condition. Each and every book tells us something different. It is a debate on a different facet of the human experience.
