The Rise and Fall of the Morello Gang
The Morello Gang was a group of Sicilian criminals that operated in Harlem. They made their money by making counterfeit currency, and also in construction. The gang is generally thought to be the first Italian-American mafia family. But they were far from having a monopoly on the New York criminal underworld. L'Ojana would preside over an even more tightly controlled organisation several decades later.
