i feel like the view that you're talking about here is something like uh things that run counter to the pleasure principle am i hearing that right um well so i mean not anything along those lines not quite. The other way of thinking about it and what i what i'm doing in some ways is a little more general or even vague right is to think about how much what we could call our second nature namely the social formations that are reproducing themselves. I was getting a little tripped up because i know you don't think it's like natural to to like have a family reputed in in some sort of essentialized manner, he says.
