Veradcar has not been good at ending political careers. He's not unique in leaders who often struggle to kind of be ruthless and chop people's heads off politically speaking. Plus he had the current of a mathematical problem. His coalition has far fewer job opportunities for KG, but he did have an awful lot of jobs to hand out in the last one. The more general phenolgale problem is that there's a middle generation that extends beyond those three - Brendan Griffin, Charlie Flanagan or Michael Crete.
