The Importance of Balance in Parenting

I was going to let her eat sticks and pick up leaves and put them in her mouth. Well I was letting her handle all that because we had very different parenting philosophies. So without that balance I've had to be a little bit more strict in the way that I do things. But I still let her eating sticks and leaves from time to time.
