The Meaning of Nutrients in Modern Life

People generally use the word hardy to describe food that is particularly nutritious. Nutrients are divided into two broad categories, macronutrients and micronutrients. Micronutrients are things we need to eat a lot of, basically things that you couldn't fit into a pill. Modern people in the developed world generally get more than enough macronutrient, particularly carbohydrates and fats.
