How Do You Build Intimacy?
i hate the fact that sexual relationship has become a euphemism for intimacy, because intimacy is so much more than just that. To really be appreciated, affirmed and accepted, you have to spend time together,. talking together, sharing activities with each other - building an appropriate bond of relationship not just singular. So when we jump into physical intimacy frst, whether that's fully sexual engagement or not, we're reversing the proper process of building intimacy. And i think people want to fast track it. A slow build is maybe less sexy, less exciting and maybe less genuine.
