Beauty of Chemistry, a Book Review
The book is made in collaboration with two photographers. Yang Liang and Wentinghu are artists who run a project called InVision in Chemistry. And they make these astonishing videos, kind of stop motion videos and time lapse videos of chemical processes. It's very hard to convey what molecules do, things that we never directly see or experience. So many chemists say that's what drew them to the subject - but I don't think it's necessarily about asceticism.
