CNN's John Defterios was in Indonesia to report on the nickel sector. He visited three groups: Morawali, Kajan and Agony. West Papua is where a lot of deforestation is yet to happen but very much threatened by smelting. In South Sulawesi he met tribes who have only recently been awarded customary forest rights.
