God's Mercy Is a Delight to You

God is merciful because god is merciful, not because of how good you and i have done. Scripture says that it is a delight to god to show us mercy. And we see that so clearly evidenced on on the cross. We'regoing to spend the rest of time to day looking at a parable actually, in scripture, in matthew 18. It's a teaching from jesus. He talks and gives a really great illustration of what it means to be a person who receives mercy.
