LZ: I was raised in Pentecostal and it's really important that we have alliteration. John calls it the lust of the eyes, the flesh and the pride of life. But what's missing here is there's no way in which two things are going to be absent through the whole of your Christian life. That's number one. And number two is until you die in day, you have to struggle. LZ: You're not going to avoid the vicissitudes of human existence. Or abject poverty. The difference between having Christian perfection and sinless perfection? My right needs to be changed.
