Australia's Announcing a B-52 Deployment to China
The US will build facilities for the B-52 bombers at the Tindall Air Base, which is just south of the northern coastal city of Darwin. It's expected to cost about $100 million, and it includes a parking area for up to six B-52s. Some fear that this could guarantee Australia's involvement in a future conflict between the US and China.
