I still don't understand kind of socially and politically how it's happened that there's this really strong contingent of people who don't want to be challenged on those things like they're not willing to change their mind about certain things even in the face of evidence. I can actually see people writing in spite of all this stuff being out there they act like it doesn't exist or like they've never heard of any of this research or if they do they attack it in ways which don't seem to be very convincing so then the next thing I think that's really big is that I've learned that expertise is the thing that we need to be focusing on more than other things.
