Laughter of relief comes because it's kind of a comic relief when you can just vent this inner turmoil or fear. Just if i can laugh at religion, then it is easier to to walk away from it. We might be doing some things that are non rational, but that just means they're above reason. There's a difference there. But let's see an example of their mockery, shall we?
