How Do You Evaluate the Simplicity of Your Work?
I'm a firm believer in the whole simplicity on the other side of complexity thing. What I want to do in my editing process is delete. And so I traditionally build out the longest version. The essay is supposed to be 10, five pages,. I write the 10 page version and then scale back from there. That's how I tend to be to be simple. Then the slides got 200 words on it and tons of graphics and then it's got one graphic and 10 words. So that's kind of my own process of editing is I go to the complex. I try to deliver everything that I think the person needs to know.
