In our case, we are still working with what we got, but putting an ancestral DNA inside the modern organism. And that essentially creates, in some way, the ancient version of that organism. It's not necessary because the rest of the genome is still modern. So you're like taking a new car and putting an old engine into it? In a way, yeah.
