How to Survive an Open Mic

I used to have a beer or two before I would go on but I had the exact same experience as you it doesn't help me at all. The idea of being drunk is really funny to people and it's this where my improv skills come in. It's really difficult to use drunkenness as an ongoing premise in a sketch because once you've established that this character's drunk there's really nowhere to go so like a lot of like shows that I've been to will go we're going to do drunk improv or something and it just does not work. Although Rick is constantly drunk in the show and it seems to be okay.
