The Rise of Rebellion in the United States
Once a rebellion is initiated, you know, it can take on a life of its own. And so often revolutions end up turning into something that its original idealists never imagined or intended. The most radical person to day wouldn't be the most radical people to morrow. To day's extreme view became to morrow's consensus and the next day another person would appear to take things to the next level. Nobody had the logical or moral language to sayo k, ok, that's a little too far. Maybe we should slow it down. There was no framework to put the brakes on it.
