The Role of Vocation in the Reformation

Until the early 16th century in Christian lingo, if you will, the word vocation or calling was used mostly for when you're thinking about in the church world. In the reformers, the word kind of became to shift and be used to describe the work or your job that any and every Christian has. There is a distinction between those who are called to do church ministry and those who are not. But they're not ones that are greater than the other. We're all called by God to do certain things.
