The Covenantal Nature of Adam and Eve
The name of God there is is Yahweh Elohim right Lord God in Genesis 1 and 2. The language of image and likeness especially tied to the ancient Near East that would have been understood as kinship covenantal language family language. As you work it out across the entire Bible everything starts with Adam Noah Peter may mention this I mean the language of of establishing the covenant with Noah presupposes already a covenant relationship that's already there eventually as you work across from Adam to Christ who is the last Adam you have Christ is the head of the new covenant.
