What Was the Most Important Phone Call?
When I got the calls to go into the interview with the former Prime Minister, it was obvious that she was in a lot of trouble. But the very taking of the call round home to me just how much trouble she was in. The only reason I was being invited in was because of the amount of trouble that she wasin. You know, it's thought to Chris Mason unless you're in real life but if you're called with an hour, an hour and a half to go, come in in 90 minutes, you can't blame me. A prime minister in that situation is in trouble, almost certainly. And in this case, definitely.
