The Challenges of Living in Catalina

There are only about 4,000 year-round residents of Catalina. Real estate on the island is very expensive compared to other parts of the country. Restaurants don't give free water because they want to charge more money for it. The food isn't that fantastic just for that reason alone. But it's not that cool to pay a ton of money for mediocre food.
