The Parable of the Rain Cloud
The Buddha says it is like unto a great cloud rising above the world covering all things everywhere. I'm going to read from an English translation of Kumarajiva's Chinese translation which as I mentioned in the second lecture has very great literary myths. Now so far last week and the week before so far I've been summarizing the parables of the white lotus sudra some of them are very very lengthy but tonight I'll give you the parable of the rain cloud or theParable of the plants in full in the words of the sudra itself.
