The Unconsold by Ishiguro

For me, the story calls up very distinctly certain scenes from Kafka. I think it's a nice intro to The Unconsold,. which is a big, strange book that doesn't offer a lot of its own guidance. And so I think that they work well together. If you maybe haven't tackled The Un Consold, that this is a terrific story to listen to or to read first.
