Introduction
The House of Representatives has failed 11 times so far to elect Kevin McCarthy Speaker. The latest vote is on whether to adjourn and end his rolling humiliation for the season. Behind the scenes, there have been furious negotiations happening to try to come to some sort of resolution between a handful of McCarthy detractors and McCarthy allies.
