I Think the in and Out Party Effects Are a Bit Subtle.
In the original experiment, people thought politics was mainly about zero-sum issues. The new research shows that there is a lot more moderation than we would expect given existing literature and possibilities for positive up dating across partisan lines. We don't have enough variation to sort of estimate that, but i think what we uncover descriptively is both a lot more Moderation than we would Expectgiven the existing literature,. And that's kind of hopeful, it's kind of hopefl that, like, it's a might, there're going to be some instances.
