Is There a Difference Between Mean and Medium?
Even if i just assume that the preferences are measured perfectly, and those are true preferences, this is exactly what the voters would want. Using the method they are using, they can't measure the medium. They can't estimate the medium preference o the end estimating the mean. And so you raise this question of, is it possible that some of the discrepancy here is that the medium is different than the mean? I don't think that's the will. But there's another question of, like, maybe they're catering to the partisan base, or something like that. You'd actually have a hard time cutting up the data in a way that justifies that.
