The Paris Deception
The Paris Deception came out of a couple of different sort of inspirational threads that ended up tying together at the right moment. For me, it was through finding a historical account of an art forger who deceived Hermann Goring and sold him a fake vermeer. And I started digging into the art theft,. you know, the theft that took place all across Europe by the Nazis of Jewish art collections everywhere. Many still are unrecovered today.
