The Mark of a Good Leader

If you're not allined with the people around you, if you cannot build some kind of agreement, even if it's an agreement to disagree, you can't ship good things. The greatest conductors in the world are the ones who have the greatest intuition for recognizing when they're not the leader in the moment in the music. And i've seen it happen in my career on projects. Over the course of of months or a year or more, the person that we're collaborating with blossom into new kinds of leaders. So helping others become leaders is the mark of real leadership, in my opinion.
