What's the Point of Revolt?
Since 2016, there have been no amendments freely offered from the House floor. That means not pre-screened by the Speaker and gotten a vote on it. Paul Ryan's term in 2017 and 2018 was the first time in history that you had an entire two-year term of Congress where there wasn't an amendment offered from the floor. If I were there, I would not be voting for Kevin McCarthy. You saw what he is. What is he? He's untrustworthy. But is he just an operator?"
