Jerry's Emails Leaked to Nann's Family
The emails were full of like conspiracies and insults about the investigators on the case. Jerry isn't actually on the case, right? Right. So he has an insider like who in the department is telling him all this information. They find out that it's his former partner. The former partner is fired and Jerry is arrested and charged with criminal defamation. He later ends up suing the department saying that the arrest was unjust and a judge agrees.
