A buddy of mine and i've been talking about like the magic and the creation of laws. He traces it back to ancient greece where you basically you They decided in law used to be just this used to be about vengeance Yes, and then at certain point it became about law like law took over vengeance. And so it became like this is a different thing that isn't vengeance, but you should be satisfied with it. The law then kind of oversaw all that rather than you know It just being a cycle of violence which is what we have now.
