iOS Seven: A Good Idea

I don't get iOS six nostalgia at all. I see screenshots where people are like, Oh, look at this big fat, skeuomorphic boy with its big wood grain and the bulges here. It was also a portal of hurdles into app development because to make a quote unquote good looking app, you needed to be able to understand the design textures. And now you don't need that so much. So I think it was a good thing. Was iOS seven too far in a bunch of ways? Yes. The fact is they came out with the extreme version and then they spent some time peddling that back. They got a lot of pushback and they made changes. But
