The Importance of Surveys in Product Development
A company's job is to serve its customers. It's not a particularly complicated game, but so often we make it more complicated than it needs to be. We got into adult backpacks and I don't know that the idea of adult backpacks or simple modern are completely opposing ideas. The adult backpack that we built was not the backpack that our customer would have really wanted us to build. So my regrets are really that there was information that was out there and then I could have had for free which would have made us more effective at developing products.
