The Golden Walk Competition

This is where it ends. In the middle of the courtyard of the shopping mall is the television set. The Golden Walk Competition, complete with a prop walk as the O of the sign. A few hours before all of that, from the rickety plastic chair, I contemplated the one solitary window in the corner of the utility room. Through the window, a small patch of black polluted brighter by shopping mall lines. It was about all that I could see of hope.
