How to Build a 15 Minute City?
The 15 minute city is the idea of converging life into a human size space, rather than fracturing it into inhuman bigness. It was developed by professor carlos moreno at sorbon university in paris and adopted by anne hidalgo as part of her re-election campaign. The canadian capital of ottawa jumped right on board to give us a test case with their 25 year blue print that is hard focused on urban intensification instead of sprawl. They say they're keen to figure out how to connect neighborhoods and keep them ticking without relying too heavily on the car.
