Nuclear Power Plants in a War Zone
If you attack a coal fired plant something might knock that plant off the line, right? You may kill some people. But a nuclear plant raises this spectre of nuclear explosion and suddenly you've got a much, much bigger problem than you did before you started. The one kind of accident that could happen again is what happened at three mile island and at fukshimidac, which is a cormel down. That could happen as a consequence of a damage to the cooling systems or the power systems that power the pumps. Once that happens, the plant is gone. It will never be reopened. A plant like that is ontwere five to ten billion dollars. It's toast
