Those Monks Pray and Everything Like That
Sydney's parents and family were there as well for the ceremony. The monks pray is not because we're praying to a god or anything like that in Buddhism. It's kind of to get us in the right mindset to meditate to be a monk, she says. When you have rhythmic prayer going on for an hour sometimes your mind goes into this hypnotic stance state it's like a trance. She also reveals which lip gloss annoyed her the most during the event.
