The Problem With Dive Bombing
The Luftwaffe's obsession with dive bombing at the expense of more strategic missions. The Germans quickly learned that you don't have to actually hit these ships to sink them. And so redeploying Stuka’s to shipping is is to bring bringing them into tactical alignment what they can do rather than expending them on airfields or whatever and RDF sites.
