The Problem With Esperanto

Esperanto just has its own Esperantist community. That, that developed around the language. And I think it's just the idea of having totally different goals towards language design. A lot of people in the con langer community have the linguistic knowledge to realize that the original goals for Esperanto were unrealistic and that the language is also unsuited for the original goals it was for.
