How Did Augustine Enter the Church?
Augustine lived an exemplary Christian life as part of that community. With his whole life, he gave away his possessions to the poor. He took on an ascetic practice. He really poured himself into reading theology in the Bible. Can we even imagine putting a political leader in charge of somewhat within the church today?
