The Importance of Bitcoin

Bitcoin is the first strictly scarce liquid asset. No matter how much we want to produce more of it, we can't produce more than a specific limit. This makes Bitcoin an excellent store of value because there's only going to be 21 million of it forever. The second reason I think this is important is individual sovereignty.
