The Problem With Talking About Gods and Goddesses

Lewis was never exactly shy about attributing some of his great ideas to Professor Tolkien anyway. He namedrops, Numenor and other places. But that's what Tolkien says when one of the letters is that Lewis had only ever heard the stuff read out loud. So he had never seen it in a manuscript. It was just read at part of the Inklings meetings around the fireplace with some cherry in their hand.
