The first question that comes to you when you read the Gospels is who is this? You know, who is this person? It's a very challenging portrait to us. And I think his wit is part just part of that. He tends to always or often at least use an illustration. So if they're fighting, he goes and gets a child. He puts the child among them. And he says, you must receive the kingdom of heaven as a little child. Or he'll get up and wash their feet; look at the fields, they're white to harvest. That's like a very, very vivid portrayal that we get of him. This is what he was really like.
