The rift is a gap or an interval that doesn't quite fit the structure in which it appears, right? That's how we talk about in terms of works of art. So i see the probe as a kind of positive hension of what we call the rift. And this book of probes is filled with these little rifts, these kind of like rifty nomic truths or semi truths or untruths. I feel like something also to say about the probe is its relationship to truth. What's veridicale we have an idea, especially no philosophical or academic discourse, that you are narrating or recounting some state of affairs and throwing it into new light.
